Meet Nosework Addicts Dogs
Our dogs are more than just pets, they’re our partners, our teammates, our inspiration, and the heart of Nosework Addicts, LLC. Each of them brings their own unique personality, strengths, and journey to the sport we all love.
From conquering challenges to celebrating big accomplishments, these dogs remind us every day why Nosework is so much fun. They work hard, think independently, and of course, never turn down a chance to search for a treat!
Get to know the incredible dogs behind Nosework Addicts and discover the personalities, achievements, and stories that make each of them one of a kind.
Meet Onyx
Our little black Labrador and, without a doubt, our bestest girl.
Onyx joined us at the beginning of our nosework journey with some environmental fears and plenty of uncertainty. Through patience, training, and the confidence she found in nosework, she has blossomed into a joyful, determined, and incredibly talented little worker.
Watching her transformation has been nothing short of amazing. The once insecure dog we knew has grown into a confident competitor who approaches each search with enthusiasm and purpose.
Onyx has taught us so much about the power of nosework, not only as a sport, but as a way to help dogs discover confidence in themselves. She continues to inspire us every day and reminds us why we fell in love with this incredible activity in the first place.
Meet Odin
Our Black Labrador and one of the happiest hunters you’ll ever meet.
Odin absolutely loves to hunt. The moment he knows it’s time to work, he's "all in" and watching him search is one of our favorite parts of the sport. He approaches every search with enthusiasm, determination, and a genuine love for the game.
What we enjoy most about doing nosework with Odin is watching him do what he was born to do. His excitement, focus, and sheer joy while he’s working are contagious. There’s nothing quite like watching a dog light up when they know it’s time to search.
Odin reminds us that nosework is about so much more than finding odor, it’s about watching our dogs do what they love.
Onyx's impressive achievements
Onyx is an amazing Nosework competitor and truly one of a kind. We currently compete at the Summit level, and I'm incredibly proud to say that she is the first dog in the Pittsburgh area to earn every title offered by NACSW (National Association for Canine Scent Work), she has also earned her AKC SWM and USCSS DDS Senior titles.
Her accomplishments are a reflection of her incredible talent, determination, and love for the game, but they also represent something even more meaningful: the power of our teamwork, and the extraordinary bond between a dog and her handler.
Onyx has taught me that Nosework is about so much more than finding odor. It’s about building confidence, celebrating successes, learning from mistakes, trusting your dog, and creating a partnership where both of you can thrive.
I couldn’t be prouder of this little girl and all that we've accomplished together. Every search, every title, and every adventure is another memory we'll always treasure.
Odin's impressive achievements
Odin is the kind of Nosework dog who reminds you that the best competitors are the ones who truly love the game. With his infectious enthusiasm and an incredible work ethic, he brings energy, determination, and pure joy to every search.
Odin has earned his NACSW NW3 Elite title, and we're excited to see where his Nosework journey takes us next. The challenges may get bigger, the searches may get harder, and the odor problems may become more complex, but Odin approaches every one of them with the same attitude "let’s go find it!"
His drive, confidence, and unwavering love of the work make him an absolute joy to watch. He gives his whole heart to every search, and watching him work is a constant reminder of why we love Nosework so much.
Odin doesn’t just search, he plays a game he absolutely loves.
"Nosework with our dogs has been an incredible journey. Seeing them gain confidence and pure joy is the greatest reward."
